Hi, I'm Katie!
I've helped people grow and teams thrive for more than 20 years.
My favorite activity as a child was building a river in my grandmother’s back yard during our weekly home-cooked Sunday dinners. I was the arranger, recruiting and organizing all willing participants. I knew which cousin would dig a perfect tributary with a kitchen spoon and which would engineer the sturdiest stick bridge. Mostly I knew that our success was always more meaningful when all of our strengths were put to use.
I still love arranging! I love coordinating people and resources to achieve maximum effectiveness. I do this with projects at my children’s schools and at my church, and I do this as an Organizational Effectiveness Consultant. With 20 years of experience in this field, I have designed and facilitated countless workshops for remarkable teams at Microsoft, Google, Uber, and LinkedIn. I still marvel at the power of a leader and team taking advantage of an opportunity to come together as a group and dig into learning more about their individual and collective strengths and how to put them to use.
Learning is step one. If I were left to my own devices, I would learn all day! An avid reader; I re-read game-changing books like The Wisdom of the Enneagram and The One Thing again and again. (Check out my other favorites below). But putting that learning into action is where the magic happens. I founded Dynamik Consulting in 2020 to serve the great businesses and organizations of the Augusta, GA community.
I’m equally loyal to my roots as I am grateful to the risks I’ve taken by living in different areas of the globe. I know that we see the world differently from one another, and we are all connected! Sometimes we need help learning how to better communicate with one another, but I find no greater satisfaction than building bridges between people and helping others find deeper clarity and purpose.

My Personality Traits
I’ve been a little obsessed with personality tools ever since a kind Enneagram teacher helped me understand my teenage self in a whole new way. As an oldest daughter, I realized I could celebrate being a Type 6 Loyalist instead of trying to emulate my mom, who’s a strong Enneagram Type 8 Challenger. That insight changed everything for me.
About ten years later, I stumbled into the world of Insights Discovery and realized there was actually a career in helping people understand themselves and each other. From that moment, I was hooked — I knew I’d found my calling. Now, I get to spend my days helping leaders and teams grow in self-awareness, communication, and connection. Here are my key traits:

I cried listening to this audiobook. Beautiful perspective on building meaningful understanding.
My then-boyfriend, now husband, gave me this book for my 18th birthday. I love it dearly. My Enneagram workshops are derived from this book, and I love the assessments at the beginning of each chapter. Lately, I’ve found the early chapters (before the type descriptions) to be very meaningful.
The Freedom of Self-Forgetfulness
By: Tim KillerTim Keller explains things in a way that no one else can. I read this book monthly. A small book with a big impact on perspective and humility.
This book changed my life in my mid-30s. We got out of debt because of it. I started our yearly marriage retreat because of it. Read it to gain clarity on your values, focus, and time management.
